The analysis of cohesion starts with numbering the sentences successively, so the first question in our analysis is whether the title is part of the text. In the analyses we decided to number it as if it was a sentence, because later in analyzing research articles we will have to handle section and subsection titles, which also form an inherent part of the text and need to be treated as such.
