In the present longitudinal study, in order to minimize memory decay, retrospective data collection was carried out immediately after the interpreting task. Participants conducted retrospection on their own, in writing. They were invited to write down positive and negative aspects of the interpreting task they had just completed. There were no cues and students received no prior training in connection with retrospection. The collection of retrospective evaluative comments made it possible to collect process data in addition to the product data analysed in the previous chapters of this monograph.
