In chapter five, a short overview is given about the methodological challenges researchers face when investigating interpreting, together with possible solutions to some of the issues raised. The overview is based on works on Interpreting Studies research methodology by Gile (1997, 1998, 2000), Szabari (1999), Shlesinger (2000), and Seresi (2024).
