The entry requirements for the Master’s Program in Translation and Interpreting at the University of Szeged are a BA-level Degree, C1-level knowledge of the B language and B2-level knowledge of the C language of the candidates (SZTE BTK Fordító- és Tolmácsképző Központ (u-szeged.hu)). At the time of the data collection, the entrance exam had two parts: a written and an oral one. The written exam had three parts: written translation from B to A, written translation from C to A, and written translation from A to B language. The oral exam had four parts: an interview, summary of a B language oral text in the A language, summary of an A language oral text in the B language, and summary of a C language oral text in the A language.
