My name is Annamária Kótay-Nagy, I am a teacher of English and Hungarian as a foreign language and a third-year PhD student in the Language Pedagogy and English Applied Linguistics doctoral programme at ELTE BTK. In my doctoral research, I am investigating the affordances of technology for differentiated instruction. As a first step, I would like to explore how English teachers in primary and secondary schools perceive the concept of differentiation and its practical feasibility, as well as the use of digital tools for differentiation purposes.
