This section discusses how ICT in education fits into educational theory and details what is conceptually understood by teachers’ technological pedagogical knowledge. This step is taken to establish a link between already existing theories before the discussion of educational policy. Teachers’ technological pedagogical content knowledge (TPACK) framework, that is, the building bricks (i.e., the dimensions) of teachers’ technological knowledge are also introduced and explained in thorough detail.
