Translation revision is not the target of the present investigation; however, as it bears resemblance to post-editing, it is important to define it and distinguish it from post-editing. Robert et al. (2017) define translation revision as the revision of an entire human translation by someone else than the translator. Revision starts once the translation process has finished. In addition, relying on Mossop (Mossop, 2014), they define revision as identifying unacceptable segments in the draft translation and correcting or improving them (Robert et al., 2017).
